Fine Artist and Photographer
I have been a professional artist for over forty years and in that time I have drawn and painted almost anything you can imagine. I have illustrated books and undertaken dozens of murals; one was over a thousand square feet. I have completed hundreds of commissions of birds, animals, battleships, portraits, vintage cars, land and seascapes and still enjoy the challenge of a new commission or trying something completely different. I am retired now and so I don’t travel around the country doing shows and I have stopped teaching. I have taken an interest in persuing an idea I have had buzzing round in my head for a good few years now and that is abstract paintings drawn for the natural environment. These ‘Natural Abstracts’ are my latest creative efforts which I hope to be exhibiting in galleries around the country during the next few years.

Art Talks and Demos
I am always interested in giving talks and practical demonstrations to any groups, art or otherwise. I have illustrated talks on art history and art appreciation in general or on specific artists. Contact me and we can talk about what will go down well with your group. The cost is £150 plus travel.
Photography
Bird photography is a fairly recent interest of mine. I have watched birds from a very young age and have always had a pair of binoculars to hand. However, in recent years I have taken a real interest in getting as good a shot as I can.
Bird club illustrated talks
I can offer a two-hour presentation on the birds of Nicaragua, Israel, Australia, New Zealand and Kerala, and The Falklands.
